The Lazar family, long time members of the Greenburgh Hebrew Center in Dobbs Ferry, are being honored with the Jack Sonkin Memorial Award for all of their many contributions to education and youth. The award will be conferred at a breakfast on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 9:45 am. Rabbi Mitchell Cohen, the Director of the National Ramah Commission, which oversees all of the Ramah camps worldwide, will speak at the breakfast.More >>
