Feeding Our Neighbors – GHC USY Conducts Food Collection at GHC

Help us feed the hungry! This is UJA-Federation of New York's 11th Annual Food Drive and the food drive is being coordinated at GHC by our Youth Group. The food will be distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens in Westchester and the Bronx.
Canned and packaged non-perishable nutritious food items that are needed are: dried beans (or canned beans or peas), peanut butter (plastic containers only), boxed milk, 100% fruit juice, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meat and fish, whole grain cereal, pasta, rice, granola bars , soup, raisins, prunes, dried fruit, and nuts. Pop-top cans are a plus. Boxes and/or bags will be set up on both levels of GHC by GHC teenagers, close to the entry doors.
NO glass or expired items please. Kosher food welcome, but not required.
Please bring your items to Greenburgh Hebrew Center, 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, from Friday, December 25, 2015 through Friday, January 29, 2016
