Important Shabbat InformationPublished: Wednesday, August 5, 2020 By:
Greenburgh Hebrew Center is open! While we have been live streaming our Shabbat Services for quite some time (see below link), we are now beginning to allow members to physically attend. We are, however, limiting attendance for safety and health reasons. If you wish to attend the service you MUST contact our VP of Religious Affairs at email@example.com by the MONDAY prior to the Shabbat service. There is NO guarantee of your admittance. Preference will be given to those who take part in the service, or need to say Kaddish. We are doing our best to insure the safety and health of those in attendance. Our sanctuary's seating has been arranged so you will be socially distant. Before entering the building, not only will your temperature be checked, but also you will be asked a series of questions and told what the protocol is that you must follow. Masks need to be worn at all times.
The Planning for the Future Task Force continues to review what procedures and guidelines are necessary in order for us to oipen up services to the entire congregatrion. As for the High Holidays, we will be having multiple services and limiting the amount of members and guests that can attend each service. A ticket will be required in order to gain admittance.
For those not yet comfortable attending services in person, whether it be for Shabbat or the High Holidays, you can stream them by clicking the following link: venue.streamspot.com/3c514106.
We wish you a very Healthy and Sweet New Year!
