Important Shabbat InformationPublished: Friday, March 13, 2020 By: Naomi Feinkind
After a great deal of discussion with Rabbi Stein and amongst the Executive Committee of the synagogue and in consultation with the Westchester Department of Health, we have decided to cancel all services until further notice.
So, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you that until further notice, all activities, classes, minyanim will be cancelled at GHC. While the Sisterhood Wine Sale/Tasting is cancelled, the sale is on and order forms are available on line. As of March 23rd, the office will be closed. However, all calls are being monitored so if you have ANY issues you need to discuss, please listen to the voice message and respond appropriately. . Rabbi Stein and Cantor Janet will be available to you through phone or email. This crisis can be isolating. Please know that we are here for you, as members of the board have already volunteered to make friendly phone calls- just to catch up.
We recommend that you:
Wash hands multiple times with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Avoid touching your hands and face
Don’t share food or drinks
Give elbow bumps instead of handshakes
Practice social distancing
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Avoid touching surfaces in public areas
We will get through this together- GHC STRONG!
