In solidarity with the victims of the massacre in Orlando the Greenburgh Hebrew Center will be holding a non-denominational prayer service this Friday evening, June 17, 2016. Rabbi Jay Stein will present a teaching which will focus on the Jewish response to this tragedy. The entire community is welcome to attend. The service will begin promptly at 6:30PM prior to the synagogue’s regular Friday Night Kabbalat Shabbat service. The synagogue is located at 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY.
The Greenburgh Hebrew Center, founded in 1947, is an inclusive, egalitarian, participatory Conservative Jewish congregation located in central Westchester County. It welcomes and includes people from all walks of life and from many communities within Westchester County – singles and families – traditional, interfaith, blended and LGBTQ.
