Purim Megillah Reading and “Purim Wars” at Greenburgh Hebrew Center Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 6:45 pm

The holiday of Purim begins with the Megillah reading (the story of Purim) on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:45 pm. The theme for this year’s Shpiel is “Purim Wars”. All Purim attendees – children and adults - are encouraged to dress up like a character from Star Wars! Congregants have created an enjoyable and comical Purim shpiel which will be presented during the evening. The Shpiel will be fun, festive and filling (because Hamentaschen will be served, of course)!

The Greenburgh Hebrew Center is a warm, inclusive, egalitarian, participatory Jewish congregation located in central Westchester County. We are a joyous and spirited community that welcomes you to join with us as we celebrate, learn, and perform tikkun olam, social action to repair the world. We welcome singles and families, including interfaith and non-traditional families. The Greenburgh Hebrew Center is located at 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY.
