It is time to get into the Hanukkah Spirit! Two Shabbat/Hanukkah Dinners will be held at the Greenburgh Hebrew Center on Friday, December 19: an early dinner for families with young children and a later dinner following congregational services.
Beginning at 5:15 pm, young children and their families can enjoy holiday songs, blessings and a fun Hanukkah activity, followed by a delicious family-friendly dinner at approximately 6 pm. Joyous “Musical Shabbat” services (with musical instruments) begin at 6:30 pm, led by Rabbi Kenter and Cantor Leuchter. Following the conclusion of services at 7:30 pm, adults of all ages and families with school age and older children are invited to enjoy a delicious family-style Shabbat dinner.
Please call the synagogue office at 914-693-4260 or email Robin at VPYouth@g-h-c.org to make a reservation. Adults and children of all ages are very welcome at either dinner. For additional information, please visit www.g-h-c.org.
