Greenburgh Hebrew Center extends its Commitment to Free Jewish EducationPublished: Monday, August 24, 2015
The Greenburgh Hebrew Center extends its commitment to Jewish education by offering newcomers a year of its award-winning Religious School for free, and membership in the synagogue is not required. Those enrolling for the 2015-16 year will also enjoy a 50% discount on member-priced tuition for the 2016-17 year. This tuition benefit is available to all new students, regardless of the student’s grade. Also, all parents of students enrolled in the Religious School may attend High Holiday Youth services for free, along with their child.
GHC’s Religious School begins at kindergarten and continues through the teenage years. The vibrant and relevant curriculum engages children and provides a solid foundation in Jewish learning. All classes are taught by experienced, dynamic teachers, and the education is deepened by frequent input from both Rabbi and Cantor. The Religious School experience is enhanced by ongoing age-appropriate Sabbath services, extra-curricular activities and social gatherings for children and their parents.
To learn more about the school or to arrange a tour, please contact Director Debbie Erdheim at 914-693-4260 or RSDirector@g-h-c.org. For additional information about the Religious School, the Early Childhood Center, and many other activities at GHC, visit www.g-h-c.org.
The Greenburgh Hebrew Center is a fully egalitarian Conservative synagogue serving the Rivertowns and adjacent communities. The synagogue welcomes traditional and blended families, singles and LGBTQ participants, and has daily services that are spirited and participatory.
