New, Expanded Scheduling Options at GHC Early Childhood Center Provide Enriched Programming for 3 and 4 Year Olds 8 AM to 3 PM

Published: Thursday, January 28, 2016

Beginning September 2016, the Greenburgh Hebrew Center Early Childhood Center (GHC ECC) will offer new scheduling options to provide additional support to school families with 3 and 4 year olds. These changes include early drop off and a later extended day program. The current regular school hours are 9:00 – 11:45 am.
The early drop off will begin at 8 am for all enrolled 3 and 4 year olds.  The children will work with a qualified teacher, and will enjoy free play and projects during this time.  This option will be offered 5 mornings a week.
The other option that will be offered for 3’s and 4’s is an Extended Club Lunch after school program.  The current Club Lunch program runs from 11:45 am – 2 pm. This option will be maintained and then families will have the choice to extend their Club Lunch experience until 3 pm. The Club Lunch enrichment programs consist of literature, art, music, and physical activity, in addition to lunch, playground and free play.
Registration for 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s classes is currently in progress.  Families who enroll by February 1st will receive a $500 per child tuition discount.  Please contact Amy Kessler, GHC ECC Director, at (914) 479-1421 or  to set up a school tour.
