Get into the Hanukkah spirit early this year!  This year the “I Can’t Wait ‘Til Hanukkah” Dinner is being held at the Greenburgh Hebrew Center on Friday, December 16.

“Blue Jean” Shabbat services begin at 6:30 pm, led by Rabbi Kenter and Cantor Leuchter to be followed by a delicious family-style Shabbat dinner.

There will be plenty of latkes, brisket, sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) and other delicious goodies.  (Vegetarian and child-friendly food available too.)  Rabbi Kenter is preparing for his annual Jewish Trivia contest for the children – with chocolate gelt for all participants!!

This year we will have an early program and dinner for families with young children before the congregational service. We will start at 5:15 pm with songs, candlelighting blessings and fun Hanukkah activities for young children, followed by dinner at 6 pm.

Please call the synagogue office at 693-4260 or email Robin at VPYouth@g-h-c.org  to make a reservation for either dinner. Adults and children of all ages are very welcome at either dinner.  For additional information, visit the Event Page.
