Help us feed the hungry! Westchester Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant congregations and organizations are collecting food for UJA-Federation of New York's 10th Annual Food Drive. The food will be distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens in Westchester and the Bronx.
All GHC students will be given a special food collection tote bag this week to fill up and return to GHC.
All donations should be placed in or on the FOOD COLLECTION BIN in the atrium.
Suggested non-perishable, sealed items are:
boxed milk • canned fruits and vegetables • canned meat and fish • cereal, cookies, and crackers • coffee, teas, and hot chocolate • pasta, rice, and instant potatoes • ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise • soup and tomato sauce • vinegar, oil, and salad dressings • raisins, prunes, dried fruit and nuts
NO glass or expired items please. Kosher food welcome, but not required.
Please bring in your items by Wednesday, February 4.
