Alison B. Segal, Ph.D. is a NY state licensed psychologist who has extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the treatment of anxiety disorders. Dr. Segalís formal education includes a B.A. in Child Study from Tufts University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University. Informally, she practices being an organized wife and mom, and strives to run a low-clutter household. Currently, Dr. Segal is a Consulting Psychologist to the Institute for Behavior Therapy in NYC and sees patients in her private practice, Healthy Behaviors of Westchester, in White Plains, New York.
Dr. Segal has practiced cognitive behavioral psychology for over 15 years treating children, adults, couples, and families. In this time, she developed an expertise in treating both Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and chronic disorganization. Out of this expertise, Declutter & Destress was developed.
