In case you’re wondering:
The Shabbat immediately preceding Passover is called Shabbat HaGadol – the Great Sabbath. There are many reasons for the name, but tradition suggests that this Shabbat recalls the Israelites preparing for Passover despite the dangers they might confront from their Egyptian masters.
