Rabbi Jay Stein

Rabbi Stein is currently a member of the Committee on Jewish Laws and Standards of the Conservative Movement and has authored four papers that have been approved as Jewish law for the Conservative Movement.
He is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and earned a dual B.A. in Jewish Philosophy from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTS). He continued his rabbinic studies at JTS to receive a Master of Arts in Jewish Education and his ordination in 1993.
Rabbi Stein is the Rabbi of Greenburgh Hebrew Center and has five children.
