Greenburgh Hebrew Center to Sponsor Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah Class - Informational Meeting September 17 at 10am

Published: Wednesday, September 6, 2017

Perhaps you never had the opportunity to have a Bat or Bar Mitzvah. Maybe you did but want to do it again at a time when you will appreciate your connection to Judaism in a different way. Greenburgh Hebrew Center will be sponsoring an adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah class taught by Rabbi Jay Stein and Cantor Janet Leuchter. This course is designed for adult learners of any age who want to have this experience. Even if you never learned Hebrew, you can still take this class. Tutors will be available to teach Hebrew. Class begins October 22, 2017 at 10 am and they will meet the 2nd Sunday of each month. Your Jewish studies lead to a Bat/Bar Mitzvah in spring, 2018. An informational meeting will be held at the synagogue on Sunday, September 17 at 10am.
