The Young Families Group
The Young Families Group at GHC provides religious, cultural and social programs especially for families with children in 5th grade and younger. We offer weekly peer-led, participatory religious services for young families (Tot Shabbat), as well as social programs where families can meet and connect with other Jewish families in our community while having fun.
We welcome a diversity of backgrounds and traditions, and we welcome members and non-members alike to participate in our activities. It is our desire to provide an affirmative foundation for Jewish identity and spirituality that can last through our children's future. Working together as parents, we help channel the curiosity and enthusiasm of our children to bring joy into the modern Jewish experience.
The Young Families Group works in tandem with the synagogue's clergy, Nursery School and Religious School to craft age-appropriate and conveniently timed programs.
