Our
members are largely from Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley, Hastings, Irvington, but
also from Edgemont, Hartsdale, Scarsdale, White Plains, Yonkers, Tarrytown,
and other locations.
Dobbs Ferry is a station on the MetroNorth Hudson line and is 36 minutes from Grand Central Station. There is a Dobbs Ferry exit on the Saw Mill River Parkway (which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway) and an Ardsley exit on Route 87 (which becomes the Major Deegan).
Directions to Greenburgh Hebrew Center
From New York City / New Jersey
North on West Side Highway to Saw Mill River Parkway. Exit at Dobbs Ferry-Ardsley (exit 17). Left turn at exit onto Ashford Avenue. Proceed one mile on Ashford to Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway for 1/4 mile. Center is on left side of Broadway.
OR
North on Major Deegan Expressway to New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 7. Turn right on 9A to traffic light. Turn left at light onto Ashford Avenue. Proceed one mile on Ashford Avenue to Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway for 1/4 mile.Center is on left side of Broadway.
From Tappan Zee Bridge
Immediately after tollbooth, get of at exit Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9, going south for 3 miles. Center is on right side of Broadway.
From Long Island or Queens
Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Parkway North to Exit 13. Take Cross County Parkway West to Saw Mill River Parkway North. Exit at Dobbs Ferry-Ardsley and follow directions above from New York.
OR
Triborough Bridge to the Major Deegan Expressway North, which becomes the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 7. Follow directions above from New York City.
From Connecticut
Drive South on I-95, I-684 or Merrittt Parkway to Route 287 West. Proceed west on 287 to the New York State Thruway North (I-87). Take Exit 9, Tarrytown-Route 9. Turn left at end of exit onto Route 119, and proceed to traffic light at Route 9 (Broadway). Turn left on Route 9 South and proceed 3 miles. Center is on right side of Broadway.
