Greenburgh Hebrew Center welcomes noted author, activist and academic, Dr. Jay Michaelson, to speak at the synagogue, located at 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, on Monday, April 20th at 7:30 pm. Dr. Michaelson will explore distinctive LGBTQ voices and perspectives within Jewish sacred texts and theology. The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session, and refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this free event. As Rabbi Barry A. Kenter said, “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Michaelson, whose insights are sure to enrich us all and to inspire further LGBTQ outreach.
