Purim Megillah Reading and “Purim Wars” at Greenburgh Hebrew Center Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 6:45 pm

The holiday of Purim begins with the Megillah reading (the story of Purim) on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:45 pm. The theme for this year’s Shpiel is “Purim Wars”. All Purim attendees – children and adults - are encouraged to dress up like a character from Star Wars! Congregants have created an enjoyable and comical Purim shpiel which will be presented during the evening. The Shpiel will be fun, festive and filling (because Hamentaschen will be served, of course)!

Feed the Hungry - Interfaith Community Drive

Help us feed the hungry! Westchester Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant congregations and organizations are collecting food for UJA-Federation of New York's 10th Annual Food Drive. The food will be distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens in Westchester and the Bronx.
